120 students, registered in the eight sports associations that make up the territory, met at the nautical base
The national day of school sports mobilized many students throughout the Aude department under the aegis of the UNSS. For the west of the department, it is the nautical base of La Ganguise which welcomed some 120 students, registered in the eight sports associations that make up the territory.
On the program for this beautiful sporting and sunny day, activities on water and on land: kayak, paddle, catamaran, introduction to rugby league, archery and disc golf. “These activities were possible thanks to the active participation of the county council with the presence of the animators who came to lend a hand to the sports teachers of the colleges present. We also warmly thank the base of Ganguise which has hosted this day for many years” , said Benoit Quief, departmental director of the UNSS. “The resumption of school sport is most satisfactory after two complicated years. The school sport day was able to be organized in different places in Aude: Gruissan, Carcassonne, Narbonne and here, in La Ganguise, for the western sector of our Many projects are now on track: MAIF national challenge, College Olympics which will take place in Gruisssan, raids, Olympic week, Olympic and Paralympic Games with a major project around the Olympic flame”.
