Kyrgios reacts to Tiafoe’s insults of Tsitsipas “Greek yogurt”.

After Nick Kyrgios saw what Frances Tiafoe shouted during a substitution in their Laver Cup match against Stefanos Tsitsipas, the Aussie snapped a remark. “Pause bro,” Kyrgios wrote in a video of the moment posted to Instagram by Eurosport.

In the video, Tiafoe can be heard saying, “I all want that Greek yogurt!” Frances was referring to Tsitsipas’ Greek origins.

How did Tiafoe beat Tsitsipas at the Laver Cup?

Stefanos Tsitsipas needed to beat Frances Tiafoe to keep the Blues in contention for the deciding match and have a chance of staying in contention for the Laver Cup title.

Instead, Tiafoe beat Tsitsipas in an hour and 46 minutes, winning 1-6, 7-6, 10-8. The American struggled in the first set but improved in the second. They were neck and neck until the tie break, when the Greek squandered four match points to keep his opponent in the game.

After winning the final match of the 2022 Laver Cup against Greece’s Stefanos Tsitsipas, Frances Tiafoe (World Team) went straight to the stands to hug his girlfriend, Ayan Broomfield.

Tiafoe was harshly criticized by netizens especially for his match against Federer and Nadal. Earlier this season, at the US Open, Frances Tiafoe beat Rafael Nadal, his girlfriend, former NCAA national champion and tennis player Ayan Broomfield, was stunned and left with her mouth hanging open for seconds. Broomfield shared her reaction on Instagram, where she posts regularly.
