JUDO – Piedmont Judo: the Kumiai at the Italian Beginners Championships in Ostia.

KUMIAI QUALIFIES 9 ATHLETES TO THE ITALIAN BEGINNERS CHAMPIONSHIPS OF THE NEXT 5 AND 6 NOVEMBER IN OSTIA

Saturday 22 October day dedicated to the Qualifications, to the next Italian Championships that will take place in Ostia on 5 and 6 November at the Pala Pellicone in Ostia, for the Beginners B which took place at the Palestra Maggiore in Leinì. Good performance of the Kumiai athletes who have conquered, in addition to the 5 athletes already qualified for the position in the Ranking List currently conquered, another 3 passes for the finals of Ostia with Fabian Butacu in kg. 60, Antonio Darius Tanasa in the category kg. + 81 and Elisa Palermo in kg. +70. While fighting to the best of their ability, they did not manage to win the qualification Marta Capasso nei kg.57, Samuel Granata engaged in kg. 42, Gabriele Piccolo nei kg.50 Dan Angel nei kg.66 and Alessandro Arbulla in the 73 kg. In any case, a warm applause goes to them for having tried because today’s disappointment cannot be canceled but at the same time it represents, in hindsight, an opportunity to improve and aim with renewed commitment to new goals.

TO THE CHAMPIONSHIPS

At the next Finals of the Es.B Italian Championships, the following athletes will therefore defend the colors of the Druentine society. Christian Cotorobai kg.50, Matteo Poggi and Fabian Butacu in kg.60, Francesco Martinelli kg.73, Sofia Guion in kg.44 and Elisa Palermo in kg. + 70 to which Stefano Giannone kg.55 are added, Antonio Darius Tanasa and Giole Monaco in kg. + 81 not Kumiai members but with federal permit to be followed by the technicians of the Druentine company in training and in competition. Now two weeks of intense work to better prepare this competition which will certainly be highly competitive as usual. The Kumiai technicians have already drawn up a training plan to get to the top. We will have to fight to be able to emerge. To do this, it is necessary to arrive prepared and remember that the world is in the hands of those who have the courage to dream of the company and, at the same time, have the courage to take the risk of living their dreams to the end.

TWO EARS

Also on Saturday at the end of the qualification race, the Grand Prix Piemonte debutants A is staged, 3 athletes competing for the Kumiai and 2 gold medals. Gabriele Carabotto wins the 45 kg category, winning 4 matches all of Ippon, Greta Campanella gold medal in the 52 kg category and a 5 place for Nicolò Piccolo who returns to competitions after a long stop.
