Hockey competitions across Europe are already in full swing and the national team will soon be in action. The men’s national team will start the season on Thursday, November 10 in České Budějovice.
The duel against the Swedish selection will be part of the program of the Karjaly tournament, this year’s first event of the Euro Hockey Tour series.
The Czech Ice Hockey Association informed about the venue on Thursday morning via a press release.
The national team is returning to the south of Bohemia after five years: the last time they played there as part of the hockey games was in 2017.

“I wish them to enjoy the only home match until the end of the year and drive the national team to victory,” adds Obermajerová.
This is the first representative event under the leadership of the new general managers Marek Židlický and Martin Havlát. The meeting in České Budějovice under Jalonen’s leadership will take place on November 7.
The team of coach Kari Jalonen will follow up the battle in the Budvar arena with two races in Turku, Finland, where they will face home team Suomi and Switzerland.

The Euro Hockey Tour series will continue for the national team before Christmas with a tournament in Switzerland, participating instead of Russia.
He will then go to the Swedish Hockey Games in February. In April, he will appear again in front of his own fans in the Czech Republic.
