Juninense Graciela Arbúes was crowned champion in table tennis in Miramar • Diario Democracia

The sixteenth Interprofessional Olympiad of the province of Buenos Aires called “Miramar 2022” was held in that seaside resort, organized by the Federation of University Professional Entities of the Province of Buenos Aires (Fepubo).

More than 400 representatives of various Buenos Aires professional institutions participated in the sports days, including some from Junin, who shared an event of great camaraderie.

The municipal mayor of General Alvarado, Sebastián Inanatuony, the secretary of Tourism, Culture and Sports of that Commune, María Eugenia Bove, was present at the opening ceremony, together with the president of the Olympic Committee, veterinarian Héctor Rodríguez, and the president of the Fepuba , architect Daniel Delpino. It should be noted that the Interprofessional Olympiad is a sporting event that annually brings together a large number of fans of various professions and from different parts of the first Argentine state.

Competitions of different disciplines were held, including soccer (11 and 8 players, plus women’s soccer), women’s hockey, 3 x 3 basketball, volleyball, paddle tennis, golf, mountain biking, swimming, athletics, chess, fishing, shuffleboard, trick and table tennis, the latter sport in which the Juninense architect Graciela Arbúes was the winner. She is a student of professors Daniel Bergamini and Emanuel Muñoz and managed to be the best in her first “official” ping-pong tournament in Miramar, for which she received her well-deserved award at the medal ceremony, after which the Those attending the event shared a camaraderie dinner.

Speaking, the architect Daniel Delpino stated that “the spirit of coexistence, of fellowship, was revealed, which is the heritage of these activities since they began, which makes us proud and motivates us to continue carrying it forward year after year. Contrary to traditional competitions, in this contest the result is not what prevails, but the fact of interacting and sharing, in a field of people of different professions, ages, sexes, place of origin, and customs” Delpino said.

For his part, the veterinarian Héctor Rodríguez, president of the Olympic Committee, expressed that “Everything happened in a very warm atmosphere, of camaraderie among all the delegations. We all celebrate the reunion with joy, after the health crisis that we have gone through”, express.

The 2022 Olympic Committee of this institution is made up of representatives of the following participating professional entities, from the Province of Buenos Aires:
College of Veterinarians; Dental Federation; Engineers college; Biochemical Federation; College of Architects; Professional Surveying Council; Chemistry Professional Council; College of Pharmacists; College of Kinesiologists; Lomas de Zamora Bar Association; Council of Professionals of Economic Sciences and College of Notaries of the province of Buenos Aires.
