JUDO CLUB CREUSOT: Two teams at the Bresse challenge

On this Sunday, October 23, judokas from the Judo Club Creusotin took the direction of Louhans for the Challenge de la Bresse, the first competition of the year in a mixed team.
The Creusot club presented 2 minimal teams and 1 youngest team with holes (2 weight categories were missing for the minimal teams and 1 weight category for the youngest team) and weight upgrades.
The idea was to do as many fights as possible in order to take marks. The Minime 1 team, made up of Andréa, Nathan, Iliane, Mouhamed and Anaïs, finished 5th. They did not manage to get out of their group with a victory against 2 defeats, but behaved very well in the consolation (final part of the losers) by winning the semi-final and the final. As for the Minime 2 team made up of Enzo, Mathis, Hugo, François and Mélodie, they finished on the podium in 3rd position. They came out 2nd in their pool with 2 wins against 1 loss. Then, they bowed in the semi-final and small final. In the afternoon, it was the turn of the youngest to get on the tatami.

The team made up of Gabriel, Kylian, Quentin, Anas, Insaf and Assia finished 5th. With 2 wins and 2 losses in their group, they did not qualify for the final phase. They therefore participated in the consolation where they won the semi-final as well as the final. And throughout the day, 2 of the young cadets of the club, Valentine and Mickaël refereed the fights of their young comrades. This day was a very nice return to competition for the club creusotin. The group of young people engaged in their fights, there was incredible team cohesion and an overwhelming desire to progress. For Johnny Potet, the club’s coach, the season looks promising. The Judo Club Creusotin thanks the Judo Club Louhannais and Philippe Vialet for the organization of this superb competition in a friendly atmosphere with a quality technical platform. He also thanks the parents who accompanied the creusotins judokas.
