The World Championships for boys with down syndrome took place in Madeira. The athletes of the Cst Judo Ravenna, Mirko Brighi and Danilo Brunetto, who are part of the Fisdir national team, will also compete. Brighi won the silver medal by yielding in the final to the very strong Polish athlete in the 81 kg category. while Brunetto won an honorable fifth place. In the team competition, Italy became world vice-champion after Poland, Portugal third (in the photo the athletes with Paola Baroncelli, coach of the Cst and the Fisdir national team).
