Jérémy Pilon will pitch for the University of Alabama

Salaberry-de-Valleyfield – The left-handed pitcher Jérémy Pilon will not soon forget the year 2022, which is in the process of confirming his immense talent with recruiters on the North American baseball scene.

A few months after being drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays, the 17-year-old Campivallensien has just signed with the Crimson Tide of the University of Alabama and it is in Division 1 of the NCAA that he will continue his apprenticeship from September 2023. Jérémy will therefore go to Tuscaloosa (Alabama) in the Southeastern United States to begin a new stage in his career.

The product of the sport-studies program at Chêne-Bleu high school has developed remarkably over the past year. The 6-foot (183 cm) and 180-pound (86.1 kg) left-handed gunner notably lined up with the Canadian junior team in addition to finding a taker with the Blue Jays last July. Jérémy was one of three Quebecers claimed by major league baseball teams after Cédric De Grandpré and Nathan Landry.
