Jauja dresses up for its sixth edition of Cazauja

Jauja is preparing to host next weekend the sixth edition of Cazaujaits Hunting, Fishing, Tourism and Gastronomy Fair, which will take place in the municipal pavilion of the Lucentian district with a multitude of activities for fans of hunting and nature.

The exhibition, organized by the City Council of Lucena through its Mayor’s Office is free and has the collaboration of other entities of the Local Hunting Society Paño Cabezasthe Andalusian Hunting Federation and the Provincial Institute of Economic Development of the Provincial Council of Córdoba.



Cazauja is input free and it will again offer a commercial exhibition space with top-level national companies that will offer artisan products related to hunting, gastronomy, cutlery or partridges, among other areas.

The program of activities includes both Saturday and Sunday, November 5 and 6, falconry exhibitions, accompanied by a permanent exhibition, hunting dog tests in the 1st Field Podencos Cupfree game meat tasting, miller’s breakfast, taxidermy of local species, and activities for children, with different workshops, such as archery.

Culture and art are also present with performances by different flamenco artists on both days. Jesús León, singing, with guitar accompaniment by Morilito They will act on the first day (1:00 p.m.). Also on the opening day (4:00 p.m.), there will be a theatrical performance with bandit scenes to remember the link between Jauja and José María El Tempranillo. For Sunday, the organization reserves the performance of cantaora Nora López.

“Jauja is a welcoming town and will offer an event loaded with permanent content for all audiences and with a very careful organization so that whoever visits us will have good memories and an unforgettable experience with us”, explained the Mayor’s delegate in Jauja, Rafael Gómez, who has confirmed “the good expectation that among hunting fans is raising this fair that has not been held since 2019”.
