With great enthusiasm, the first day of the Potosí-SEGE School Sports League was held, with the Manuel José Othón Cultural Institute field and the Plan de San Luis CEDETAR Stadium field for basketball and soccer, respectively.
Within what were the general results of this first date, the Colegio Hispano Ingles team suffered a painful defeat against its peer from Colegio Motolinía, by zero to zero.
Another of the results that occurred was where Vicente Guerrero School got up with a resounding victory against Leona Vicario School, by four to zero; Escuela Elfegi Reyes Medina beat Escuela Plan de San Luis, by two to zero this in the women’s branch.
The duels of the men’s branch Escuela Leona Vicario stayed with the victory against Escuela Cuauhtémoc, by three to zero; Escuela Fernando Méndez Ruiz surpassed Colegio Hispano Ingles, by one to zero; Escuela Moctezuma Ilhuaicamina defeats Vicente Guerrero, by two to zero and Instituto Manuel José Othón beats Esc. Tipo 21 de Agosto, by five to zero.
Turning to the results of basketball in the women’s branch, the team from Inst. Manuel José Othón defeated Esc. Javier Barro Sierra, by 17 to 7 points; Esc. Fernando Méndez Ruiz loses to Esc. Elego Reyes Medina, by 6 to 24 points; Esc. Type 21 de Agosto beat Esc. Rosario Castellanos, by 24 to 14 points.
While in the men’s basketball branch, the team from Esc. Leyes de Reforma loses to Esc. Fernando Méndez, by 2 to 6 points; Esc. Javier Barros Sierra keeps the win against Esc. Rosario Castellanos, by 17 to 12 points; and Inst. Manuel José Othón “A” beat Inst. Hispano Ingles, by 16 to 12 points.
