The malaise at Anderlecht is complete. The most telling reaction after the new disappointment came from Zeno Debast. The 18-year-old youth product could not hold back his tears after the loss against Zulte Waregem. A strong image, which got luck from some fans on social media.
After a seventh league defeat in thirteen games, captain Hendrik Van Crombrugge was allowed/had to explain it to the media present, but no words were needed for the most eloquent reaction from a player.
Defender Zeno Debast fought against tears immediately after the whistle on the field and was comforted by Fabio Silva (20), who also seemed upset.
On social media, the youth product gets better luck from Anderlecht fans, who see their own feelings translated in their tears (see below).
