Enola Holmes 2 posters highlight 10 new and returning characters. Based on Nancy Springer’s Enola Holmes Mysteries series, Netflix’s film adaptation shifts the focus from the famous Sherlock Holmes to its equally bright, but rebellious younger sister, Enola. The first film saw Enola collaborating with the runaway gentleman, Tewkesbury, to solve the mystery of his missing mother, Eudoria. After having limited screen time in the first installment, Henry Cavill’s Sherlock is back for a bigger role in Enola Holmes 2.
Coming out on Netflix next month, Enola Holmes 2 sees young Mille investigator Bobby Brown in charge of her first case as a rented detective when she is approached by a penniless girl and asks her to find her missing sister. The investigation turns out to be far more baffling than Enola expected and when she discovers that the cases she and Sherlock are connected, the brothers decide to work together to unravel the mystery. In addition to Sherlock, Enola will once again seek Tewkesbury’s help in the sequel.
Now, two weeks before its debut, Netflix has released the first official posters of the Enola Holmes 2 characters. The posters highlight several returning characters, including Brown as Enola, Cavill as Sherlock, Helena Bonham Carter as by Eudoria, Louis Partridge as Viscount Tewkesbury, Susie Wokoma as judo teacher Edith, Adeel Akhtar as Inspector Lestrade, as well as some new characters. . What to expect from the new characters of Enola Holmes 2
In addition to showing some characters that audiences already know and love, such as Brown’s Enola and Cavill’s Sherlock, these Enola Holmes 2 posters also highlight some of the new characters that will be important in the sequel. DCEU’s Harry Thewlis plays an unknown character who appears to be the main antagonist behind the sequel’s sinister conspiracy. Sex Education’s Sharon Duncan-Brewster also plays an unnamed character who seems to be somehow associated with the match factory and is probably no good.
The character posters also show “The Matchstick Rebels,” starring Twilight Zone’s Abbie Hern and Serranna Su-Ling Bliss in her debut role. In the Enola Holmes 2 trailer, the younger girl approaches Enola and asks her to find her missing sister. However, voicing the sisters “Rebels” suggests that there may be a deeper meaning behind her disappearance, or that they have some ulterior motive. It won’t be long before audiences discover the motivations behind each of these new characters as Enola Holmes 2 releases on November 4th on Netflix.
