The carabinieri of the Fossacesia station arrested SF, a 60-year-old farmer from Lanciano with various precedents for aggravated theft of electricity and water. During the joint checks with the electricity distribution company that manages the network in the Rocca San Giovanni area, the carabinieri found that in correspondence with a pole placed at the entrance of the small farm managed by SF, a a rudimentary connection to the electricity grid from which a large cable branched off which fed, directly and thus bypassing the meter, the system of the small property. The technicians who intervened removed both unauthorized connections and made both the electricity and water networks safe. SF was placed by the carabinieri under arrest at his residence.
