National coach Hansi Flick will announce his squad for the World Cup in Qatar on November 10th. This was confirmed by the German Football Association during an information event on Wednesday in Frankfurt/Main.
Flick can nominate 26 players for the final round (November 20 to December 18), and the DFB must submit a preliminary list of up to 55 players to the world association FIFA by October 21.
The DFB announced November 13th, when two Bundesliga games were still to be played, as the date when the internationals would meet in Frankfurt/Main. On November 14th, the DFB selection will fly to the short training camp in Oman, where two days later there will be a friendly against the host selection. The national team travels to Qatar on November 18th, the first German group game against Japan is scheduled for November 23rd.
