The second season (2022) of the Pacific Basketball League officially began, where the current champions, FOHR from Hermosillo defeated Paskolas from Navojoa 91-80 at the Arena Sonora in the capital of Sonora.
Prior to the game, a brief ceremony was held led by the director of Codeson, Erubiel Durazo, accompanied by the head of the DIF Sonora, Lorenia Valles.
In addition, Paty Lara, director of volunteers, was presented, who gave a recognition to his career to basketball player Juan Manuel “Show” Esteva, who is now part of FOHR.

The first quarter was a total party for the home team, as Hermosillo beat Navojoa 34-18, which already reflected a great performance by the champions on the court.
However, Paskolas tried to press on closing the first half with a 16-16 run in the second quarter and a total of 50-34.

For the second half, FOHR ended the third period with a 75-55 advantage and despite the fact that the last quarter went to Navojoa 25-16 (final 91-80) it was not enough for the visit.
For the home team, reinforcement Lance Perique was the top scorer with 25 points, followed by 16 points from Joshua Wilkerson and another 15 from Juan Esteva.
For his part, Neway Jabs was the best scorer for Paskolas and all night with 29 points, followed by Karim García (20) and Leonardo Manzo (12).
