Five medals for the Doryoku Judo Club

The Judo competition organized by the Castilla y León Judo Federation gave the Doryoku club 5 medals. Wide representation of the Salamanca club that fought every match and every match. The goal of this tournament was for the youngest to gain experience on the tatami and put into practice what they learned in daily training.

For many of the athletes from Salamanca it was their first official Judo competition and the nerves took their toll. Even so, the club’s coaches were very happy and satisfied with the attitude of all the attendees. In the final classification it is necessary to highlight the gold of José Andrés Alayo in less than 66 kilos after making a great championship.

In addition, Doryoku won four bronze medals in this Judo competition: Sergio Andrés, Eliot Daniel Szentgroti, Sofía Haro and Luisa Hernández. All of them achieved first place in their group and lost the semifinal match.

Above the medals, from the club they want to highlight the attitude of all the judokas of the club and of all the families. All of them were until the end of the Judo competition encouraging all the companions, showing great details of sportsmanship and teamwork.

Fifth place for Charlie Antón in the Pamplona Super Cup

Charlie Antón traveled to Pamplona to fight in the Spanish Super Cup held in the capital of Navarra. The balance was four games with two wins and two losses. Fifth place for a tireless fighter, with a very unusual mentality and attitude. Charlie is making an incredible effort to be next to the best and boy is he succeeding.

This fifth place and above all how he fought each fight continues to show us a reality: he is up there with the best. The charro was left wanting the bronze medal that surely would have certified the direct pass to the Nacional but he left us with good feelings in each fight.

Villa de Aviles

On the other hand, the young Daniela Cidoncha will compete in one of the most special tournaments of the season: Villa de Avilés. This Judo competition is an icon of National Judo and Daniela will fight in the category of less than 57 kilos for children. After the fifth place in Sauces, she aspires to continue adding fights at the National level, to continue progressing and gain experience for future tournaments.
