Final stretch for the Evita National Games

Yesterday, Thursday, the third and penultimate day of activities took place within the framework of the Evita 2022 National Games, which take place in the Buenos Aires resort of Mar del Plata.
The Evita National Games gather during this week more than 22,000 boys and girls from all over the country, who compete in more than 50 disciplines. The Chubut delegation has 900 young athletes who participate in the competition under the coordination of Chubut Deportes.
Adapted athletics won six medals. There was gold for Patricio de la Fuente and bronze for Ignacio Vilca in shot (PC sub-18). In addition, Valentina Osaran got silver, in bullet for the blind and visually impaired (sub-18). Ada Luz Puca achieved the bronze 150 meters and shotgun (sub-16 engines). Finally, Camila López was also bronze in bullet (sub-18 engines).
In taekwondo, Micaela Fuentes, in the women’s -60 category, after having won her zone by beating her four rivals, lost in the semifinal against the Salta representative in a very close and close fight, finishing in third place and thus achieving , the first medal for Chubut in this discipline.
In boxing, the semifinal stages began and there, Micaela González from Chubut defeated Gianna Robles from Entre Ríos by RSC1 and reached the final, securing at least the silver medal. Dylan Acuña, Yair Quintana and Claudio Huilipan could not pass the instance, who, in the same way, secured the bronze. On Friday, Micaela González, Felipe Gutiérrez and Aaron Aranda will go for the medal chance.
In team sports, the men’s under-17 volleyball set the tone of the afternoon, beating Buenos Aires 2-1 and is now among the best four in the country. Tomorrow he will go in search of the national final.
In archery, the Chubut team was in sixth place at the national level, in the mixed sub-14 recurve modality.
Today, Friday, will be the penultimate day of activities for these Evita National Games. Many will have already completed their participation and will fully enjoy the rides and benefits of “La Feliz”, while those who are still in competition will try to leave Chubut as high as possible.
