Ball hooks for judo. The Agustina Otaola pediment in Errenteria hosted the Gipuzkoa Senior Judo Championship on Saturday afternoon with a large number of judokas who won a medal at the end of the tournament.
For two hours of pure adrenaline and fluidity between fight and fight, the young people worked hard to win the prize in each of the modalities. In the female category they competed in -48kg, -52kg, -57kg, -63kg, -70kg, -78kg and +78Kg, while in the male category -60kg, -66kg, -73kg, -81kg, -90kg, -100kg and + 100kg.
Master class this Sunday
After the dispute of the Gipuzkoa Championship, for this Sunday the fronton of Errenteria will once again host a new judo event. Naiomi Mathews, a fighter from the Getxo Riders Fight Club and champion in European and world championships, will give a Ne Waza master class.
From 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Mathews will hold a Tachi Waza to New Waza class and from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on randori (foot and ground).
