Haaland should leave England!

Now they suddenly want to get rid of Erling Haaland (22)!

A football fan has started a petition to ban the super Norwegian from England. Background: It’s just not fair that he’s allowed to play. Haaland is just too good…

Twelve competitive games, 19 goals, three assists – this man is out of this world! Haaland switched from BVB to Manchester City for 60 million euros in the summer and was already an absolute goal machine in the Bundesliga. But the 1.95 meter giant is currently trumping himself again, shooting everything short and small in the Premier League – breaks one record after the next.

Reason enough for Haaland to be banned from the league. At least that’s what one fan thinks, which is why they started a petition on the “change.org” website.

The user and initiator “Ten Hag’s Reds” writes about this: “It’s just not fair. We can change something. Now is the time for us humans to act. This robot should no longer be allowed in our country.”

The post, which is probably intended to be ironic, has so far collected 121 signatures.

Screenshots of other petitions are circulating on Twitter. Among other things, there are said to have been entries on an official British government platform regarding Haaland’s supremacy. Similar to “change.org” it says here: “Petition for the exclusion of Erling Haaland from the Premier League because he is a robot.”

Man City defender and Haaland teammate Aymeric Laporta (28) made fun of it, deleted “Premier League” and wrote “football” instead.

In the screenshot Laporta posted, the petition had 404,679 virtual signatures. Another tweet even shows 1,846,057 million. With 100,000 signatures, the British Parliament will debate the issue.

One thing is clear: the entries on the government website could no longer be found on Thursday evening.

The Norwegian scored twice in Manchester City’s 5-0 win against Copenhagen. His fifth overall this season! He was substituted at half-time. Maybe for a breather, but maybe also because coach Pep Guardiola (51) didn’t want Copenhagen to play another half against the “robot”.

The next Haaland victim is waiting for the weekend. Then it’s off to Southampton in the league (Saturday, 4 p.m.).
