The bet that we feel good
Trae Young scores at least 25 points and the Hawks beat the Hornets (1,90) : the Hornets are some of the best TTFL spots so when you see Trae Young is about to meet them, you jump at the chance. Even if Ice Trae is a bit out of address at the start of the season, he still weighs 24 points per game and he shouldn’t have too much trouble reaching the 25 mark against Charlotte. With that we expect a new victory for the Hawks, winners of their first two games (against Houston and Orlando) while the Hornets – who had a terrible offseason – remain on a defeat against the Pelicans. As a reminder, LaMelo Ball is absent, Terry Rozier probably too, just like Cody Martin.
The handset to try
Victory of the Cavaliers against the Wizards + victory of the Pelicans against the Jazz (2,12) : in the small combined on Sunday, we are betting on two hype teams for this 2022-23 season. The Pelicans first, who started their campaign well behind the exploits of Brandon Ingram, Zion Williamson and Jonas Valanciunas. Faced with Jazz, New Orleans should do the job even if Utah surprises its world at the start of the regular. Then we see a victory for Cleveland at home against Washington. Certainly the Cavs are playing back-to-back and without injured Darius Garland, but the Donovan Mitchell band was super impressive yesterday against Chicago (victory +32). And since it’s hard to believe in a scenario where the Wizards win their first three games of the season, we put a coin on the Ohio team.
A little madness to finish?
The Blazers win at the Lakers (2,45) : Dominated in their first two games, the Lakers will want to start their season this Sunday against Portland. Problem number 1, the Blazers started their season well with a success in Sacramento and another against Phoenix. Problem number 2, Damian Lillard is on fire (41 points against the Suns). Problem number 3, the Lakers still have no shooters. With good odds at 2.45 on a victory for Portland, it’s tempting!
