The Royal Spanish Football Federation held this Monday the draw for the preliminary round of the Copa del Rey 2022/23. 20 teams from the territorial category face each other for a place in the main draw, where the 10 winners will face each other with a First team that does not dispute the Super Cup. Therefore, Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Real Betis and Valencia are excluded.
This round will be played to match nico, and the team chosen first will have local status. The clubs have been divided into four pots by geographical proximity, facing each other the teams of each of them. The qualifiers, which will be played on October 19, have been divided as follows:
