Darüşşafaka Basketball Team Captain Doğuş Özdemiroğlu made a statement to Demirören News Agency (DHA) regarding the goals of this season and the Anadolu Efes game they will play in the Turkish Insurance Basketball Super League tomorrow.
Darüşşakafa, who made it to the Round of 16 in the Basketball Champions League last season and could not make his name among the last 8 teams with average, had success in reaching the semi-finals in the league.

Stating that they are a new team and they need time to get used to playing together, Özdemiroğlu said, “First of all, we aimed to build a team on top of the team identity we built last year. Some players from last year remained in the team. We made additions to the place of outgoing players. Last year, we were among us in the Champions League. We couldn’t get out of the group with 4 wins in 6 games. First of all, we want to stay in the Final-Four. I think we did very well in the league last year as well. We have won important away games.
