LOUIS, the documentary about Louis van Gaal, is eagerly purchased abroad. The biography about the national coach of Orange has already been sold to Spain, Belgium and England. German fans of the former Bayern Munich coach don’t have to wait long either.
The portrait of Van Gaal can be viewed on the German Netflix from November. “Louis van Gaal is one of the most exceptional personalities in European football and we are thrilled to show our viewers the personal side of this iconic coach,” Netflix wrote.
Documentary maker Geertjan Lassche closely followed Van Gaal for three years, during his work and in his private life. The viewer sees Van Gaal with football stars from home and abroad, but also gets an insight into his life at home through conversations with his wife and daughters.
