Desean Jackson returns to the NFL

The Baltimore Ravens were obviously pleased with their meeting with wide receiver Desean Jackson on Tuesday, as they signed him to a contract.

Financial terms, however, were not disclosed.

The 35-year-old athlete will therefore not have been unemployed for very long after having announced his intentions to return to the game the day before. Jackson will thus have the opportunity to put on his helmet and shoulder pads for a 15th career season.

The small speed merchant will have ample opportunity to showcase himself in the Ravens attack, which is sorely lacking in options for Lamar Jackson. The pivot could not count on the services of receiver Rashod Bateman, injured, during the last two duels of his people.

Coming back to the Ravens newcomer, he caught 20 of 34 balls aimed at him in 2022, with the Los Angeles Rams and Las Vegas Raiders, for 454 yards and two majors. In 176 career games, the man who also played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Commanders and Tampa Bay Buccaneers caught 632 balls, passing 11,110 yards. He also registered 58 majors.

Jackson could have his first chance to shine on Sunday when the Ravens host the Cleveland Browns at MT&T Bank Stadium.
