Daniela Rodríguez, sub 11 champion in the El Campello TTR

The CD Badminton Albatros returns from the TOP TTR Tournament played in El Campello -Alicante- with a champion: Daniela Rodríguez, who has been crowned in the women’s individual under 11. The expedition made up of the youngest, together with her companions Carla Cantero -under 19-, Jimena Alonso -under 15- and Mateo Higueras -under 15- has well been worth the 680 round trip kilometers they have traveled.

Daniela Rodríguez was facing her second participation in a scoring tournament for the national ranking, and the good results were not long in coming: she climbed to the top of the podium, remaining as tournament champion, with all the matches won with great solvency as if I would have competed for several years. The first place in this TTR Tournament has served for Daniela to rise to 44th place in the national ranking, rising 27 places in it.

In the Women’s U19 Individual category, Carla Cantero had a great tournament, although she was unable to go from the group stage to the main draw, taking two of the three matches played to the third set, with only small details preventing her from winning any of the matches. they. However, she climbs 22 places in the national ranking, standing at 135 with only three tournaments played.

In the U15 Women’s Individual modality, Jimena Alonso would classify second in her group, without being able to advance to the final draw, since only the first classified did so. She thus finishes in fifth position among all the participants, ascending seven places in the ranking, currently being number 100 in her category, with four tournaments played.

In the Sub15 Men’s Individual modality, Mateo Higueras followed the same steps as Jimena, being second in the group, to finish in the fifth final position. These results are enough for him to climb 21 positions in the national ranking, currently number 129 in his category.

In the Sub15 category, but in the Mixed Doubles, Jimena Alonso and Mateo Higueras competed. They would repeat, as if it were a “déjà vu”, the fifth place among all the participating couples.
