This year, the tennis club (TC) Steimel again held the internal club championships from July 22nd to August 6th. Over the course of two weeks, numerous games were played in both singles and doubles in a wide variety of categories. The two exciting weeks ended on August 6th with the finals.
stone. In the final of this year’s club championships, Lennart Neitzert won the first final game against Christoph Manderbach in the men’s B category early in the morning 6:4 6:4. This was followed by the men’s A final, in which the previous year’s duel was repeated. Defending champion Florian Kluth was again able to beat André Seliger by a narrow margin of 7:6 6:4. In the women’s final that followed, two former club champions, Natanja Neitzert and Nadine Hachenberg, faced off. Here Natanja Neitzert prevailed very narrowly with 7:5 7:5 and was able to defend her title.
The final men’s doubles contested Florian Kluth and Stefan Stein against the team of Christoph Manderbach and André Seliger. Here, too, the result was pretty tight 7:5 6:4 with a better outcome for Kluth/Stein. In women’s doubles, the victorious pairing was already certain, as Nadine Hachenberg and Natanja Neitzert were able to secure the club championship title in advance by winning all group matches.
