October has started strong for the club’s players with 6 metals won on the fourth day of the Madrid TTR
The Leganés Badminton Club The season has started strong. On the fourth day of the Madrid TTR that was held this weekend, they achieved 6 metals among the different categories of the club.
In the sub11 categoryhave shone in the two modalities in which we have had representation. Gael Fernández won silver in the individual category and Álvaro Cilleruelo, with a more than deserved bronze. In the doubles mode, Gael got back on the podium to collect a gold medal, along with his friend and partner Álvaro López. Cilleruelo went up again to collect the silver in this modality.
And already in the queen category, Miguel Angel de Miguel surprised us with a bronze along with our friend Nico Velasco, from southeast badminton. We are excited to see one of our best academy players who has always achieved good results on the courts again. Adrian Monroy and Christian Gracethey played a great role both in DM and in singles, but they did not have the reward of being able to go from group to the final phase of the tournament, where only the first of each group could pass, leaving the Lega boys in second place.
