The CD Huleva TSV judo club from Huelva, which every day train at the facilities of the Diego Lobato Municipal Sports Centertakes part again on the national scene and disputes this weekend in Avilés (Asturias), the Junior Spanish Cup with three outstanding athletes: Rafael Jiménez (-73Kg), Jaime Pérez (-60Kg) and Paula Pérez (-63Kg ).
This event, considered one of the most important at the national level, brings together a large number of athletes, which makes it an excellent opportunity to measure current fitness. In this way, the three from Huelva have high possibilities of achieving outstanding positions in said competition. Rafael Jiménez, the oldest in the category, assures that “I feel like competing, I’m stuck with a thorn from the previous championship, in Valencia, since I couldn’t get on the podium. And I see myself with a good level to get a medal”.
Thus, this tournament will also serve as preparation for the following weekend, in which it will be played in the town of La Línea de la Concepción (Cádiz) the absolute Andalusian Championshiphaving an important representation by the TSV.
