The Socuéllamos-AFYMOS Basketball Club has achieved third place in the 19th FECAM Regional Basketball Championship (Federation of Sports for People with Intellectual Disabilities of Castilla La Mancha) in which 128 athletes from all over Castilla-La Mancha have participated.
The Vicente Paniagua pavilion in the town of Alcázar de San Juan has hosted a championship that has exceeded the participation of the 2021 edition. 128 athletes, 13 more than in 2021, and 30 technicians and delegates belonging to 17 teams from all over Castilla-La Stain that they have delighted with a weekend of basketball at the height of very few.
An edition in which teams from the five provinces of Castilla-La Mancha have participated. CD Ada, from Azuqueca de Henares (Guadalajara), CD Apace, CD Apanas and CD Realidad Toledo, from Toledo, CD El Castellar, from Mota del Cuervo (Cuenca), from Albacete, CD San Ginés, from the province of Ciudad Real; CD Mª Auxiliadora (Campo de Criptana), CD Rogelio SR A and B (Campo de Criptana), CD Asodisal A and B (Alcázar de San Juan), CD Xabeca A and B (Almadén); CD Calatrava (Ciudad Real), CB Afymos (Socuéllamos) and CD Sea Como Sea from Ciudad Real.
