Cabalgan Cowboys over Washington

Dallas.- Cowboys Dallas “ride” better than ever in the 2022 NFL season.

With two touchdown passes from Cooper Rush and four field goals from Brett Maher, the “Lone Star” team beat the Washington Commanders 25-10 in Week 4 of the campaign.

The win gave the Cowboys their third straight win after a nightmarish start to Week 1, where they fell to Tom Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers but also lost their starting quarterback, Dak Prescott, to injury.

However, Cooper Rush has taken over and led Dallas on a hot streak, throwing for more than 660 yards for four touchdowns in the last three games.

Bengals, Giants and now Commanders have been the victims of some Cowboys who remain in second place in the Eastern Division of the National Conference (3-1), close to the Philadelphia Eagles (4-0), who continue with a perfect pace after their win against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The match

In the first period, the Cowboys took a 3-0 lead on Maher’s 53-yard field goal, which was the fourth of 50 yards or more this year.

The Washington Commanders answered with a touchdown in the second period, after Carson Wentz’s 18-yard pass found Jahan Dotson to turn the scoreboard.

Maher would go on to make three more field goals in the second, third and fourth quarters, the last of them from 29 yards.

Rush became the first quarterback to win in his first four starting appearances with Dallas.

The game’s MVP threw for two touchdown passes: first in the third quarter, hitting Michael Gallup for 12 yards, and his second touchdown came in the fourth quarter, finding CeeDee Lamb in the “promised zone.”

In all, he threw for 223 yards in the game and completed 15 of 27 passes.

what’s next

Next Sunday, Cowboys will travel to Los Angeles to face the Rams, with the possible return of Dak Prescott to the starting role, although with the weight of the good numbers that Rush has had.

Washington Commanders will receive the Titans.
