A very short vacation in Texas for Mattia Binotto. Before returning to work on the weekend in Austin, where Ferrari is called upon to proudly respond to the awarding of the world championship to Red Bull, the Maranello team principal treated himself to an evening of leisure watching from front row at San Antonio-Charlotte, a basketball game NBA (the highest basketball league in the world).
The presence of Binotto, who repeatedly had fun playing with the ball in the holds during Formula 1 weekends in Austin, did not bring luck to the local team. San Antonio, led by iconic Gregg Popovich, lost 129-102 in its season debut.
