Karlsruhe (mia). With a 1:12 defeat against JSV Speyer, the judo women of the Budo Club Karlsruhe said goodbye to the Bundesliga season. On the last day of the current season, only BCKler Anke Kaiser was able to win her fight in Bottrop.
This puts the women from Karlsruhe in last place in the four-man Bundesliga. However, there is no relegation with only four participating clubs.
The plan is for the women’s first and second divisions to be merged next season. Then more clubs should compete in the two new leagues.
