Bayern Munich has again made a jump to second place in their own competition. In the unexpected top match against Freiburg, Bayern dropped 5 in the basket. The five goals came from five different players. Due to the recent dip in form, the gap with Union Berlin still remains 4 points.

Since the end of August, Bayern has only been able to win once in their own competition and that is not something they are used to at the Rekordmeister. Instead of the traditional clubs, it was suddenly the “little ones” who topped the rankings. So is Freiburg.

That traveled as number 2 in the standings to Munich. And yet it had to undergo the law of the strongest against Bayern. In the opening quarter Gnabry opened the score with his head and before half time Choupo-Moting was also accurate.

After the break it was up to Leroy Sané and Sadio Mané to show their skills again. Freiburg saw stars.

Ten minutes before the end, Sabitzer put the final score on the board after another miss at the back of the visitors. Job done for Bayern, which jumps to second place over Freiburg.
