The ATP Challenger Tour continues its journey in South American lands. In Rio de Janeiro, a large number of tennis players from the region took to the courts to continue adding in the last stretch of the year. Torres, champion in Troyes this season, signed a resounding performance against Juan Pablo Paz: 7-6 (5) and 6-0 in one hour and 45 minutes of play to get into the second round. There he awaits another countryman: Federico Coria, top favorite in the category 80 event.
