Better known as “street basketball”, 3×3 basketball is considered the number one street sport in the world today.
This sport is played with 2 teams of 3 players on a basketball half-court, who therefore shoot towards a single basket. The team leading in the score at the end of 10 minutes of play, or which has scored 21 points, wins. Each basket scored outside the racket wins 2 points, unlike basketball at 5 (3 pts), and a basket scored inside the racket only wins one.
3×3 basketball, also called “three-three”, has been integrated by the IOC into the program of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. It is at the foot of Concorde, from July 30 to August 5, that the events of the Paris Games 2024!
