SPORT1+ shows games of the World Baseball Classic Qualifiers, which take place in Regensburg from September 16th to 21st. The preliminary round of the most important baseball tournament for national teams is held in the Armin-Wolf-Arena. Major League Baseball and the MLB Players Association host the high-profile WBC. The competition took place for the first time in 2006, in 2017 the winner was USA, before there was a longer interruption due to Corona. SPORT1+ is now showing the match between Spain and Great Britain.
