Augier-Aliassime joins Wolf in the final in Florence

The Canadian Félix Auger-Aliassime, seeded N.1 and 13th player in the world, will play the final of the ATP tournament in Florence on Sunday, on hard and indoors, against the American Jeffrey Wolf (75th).

Victorious in two sets and an hour and a half over local hero, Italian Lorenzo Musetti, 6-2, 6-3, Auger-Aliassime, 22, will aim for a second title this year, which would also be the second of his career after the Rotterdam tournament in February 2022.

The other finalist will therefore be Wolf, 23, 75th player in the world. He dismissed on Saturday, in the first semi-final, the Swede Mikael Ymer in two sets, 6-4, 6-4. Originally from Cincinnati (Ohio), Wolf will aim for a first title on the ATP circuit on Sunday, at 23 years old.
