Reunion between two old “friends” in Antwerp: Stan Wawrinka (ATP 196) will face Richard Gasquet (ATP 83) in the first round of the Belgian ATP 250 tournament.
This is the first confrontation between the Vaudois, finalist of this Antwerp tournament in 2019 against Andy Murray, and the Biterrois, since a quarter-final at Wimbledon in 2015. Richard Gasquet won 11-9 in the 5th set.
Hüsler against Cerundolo
Also engaged in Antwerp, Marc-Andrea Hüsler (ATP 66) will, for his part, be opposed to the Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo (ATP 29), titled this year on the clay courts of Bastad. The two men have never met to date.
