Atlético Nacional: Paulo Autuori said goodbye to Inter to return to the League betplay, statements | Colombian Soccer | Betplay League

Atlético Nacional made official the arrival of Paulo Autuori as the new coach of the purslane team. The Brazilian strategist will have his second term in office and this afternoon, Internacional de Porto Alegre, a club with which he had a contract, confirmed the decision made by the coach.

“There was contact a few weeks ago by Nacional and from the first moment I tried to keep the Inter president (Alessandro Barcellos) informed. Since I started in charge, I always made it clear that I would only leave the coaching position in case of projects outside of Brazil and that is what ended up happening in the case of Nacional, a club that I know and where I worked. During the negotiations, we tried to extend the departure until the end of the year, but there was an urgency on the part of the Colombian club,” Autuori said in statements to the press department of Internacional de Brasil.

Under his stage with the ‘gaucho’ team, Autuori was from April 4 of this year as sports director. What struck the Brazilian colleagues the most is that just as the announcement was made in Colombia, the strategist was working at the club’s sports headquarters in Porto Alegre.

“I just have to thank Inter for the period of work. I leave the club on an excellent path, with qualified professionals, with excellent technical, administrative and political leadership, I am hoping that the results will continue to be reaped in the short and long term” , he concluded.
