“Tell us about your first doping control”. This is one of the questions to which top athletes (judoka Romain Valadier-Picard, handball player Cléopâtre Darleux, judoka Amandine Buchard, etc.) were invited to answer, in the first episode of a series on anti-doping, posted on October 26.
With the prospect of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in sight, this initiative is the result of a merger between the L’Equipe channel and the French Agency for the Fight against Doping (AFLD) who have joined forces “for a clean sport” to promote anti-doping values. For the purpose of education and prevention, the idea is, according to a press release, to “raise awareness among the general public of the challenges of doping-free sports practice”. Various videos will be broadcast on the L’Equipe channel and its social networks as well as on AFLD media.
