At the conclusion of the IX Edition of the Latin American Police and Firefighters Games, members of the SSC obtained 75 medals

After concluding the IX edition of the Latin American Police and Firefighters Games, which were held in the state of Guanajuato, officials from the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) of Mexico City won a total of 75 medals, of which 38 were gold, 19 silver and 18 bronze.

The delegation that represented the SSC in this sporting event was made up of a contingent of 48 women and men from different areas of the entire Secretariat, who, with discipline, determination and effort, managed to endorse the performance shown in previous editions.

More than 1,500 elements from different police and firefighters corporations from different states of the country, as well as from 19 Latin American countries, attended the sporting event.

The Latin American Police and Fire Games stand out for being held under the same precepts established by Olympism, such as friendship, solidarity between peoples and fair play. In addition, they serve as an opportunity to strengthen the ties between society and the security and emergency forces that protect them.

The members of the SSC participated in the disciplines of chess, athletics, crossfit cop athletics, box, cycling, cycling crossfit cop racquetball, fronton, jiu jiutsu, judo, swimming, arm wrestling, triathlon, power lifting, tae kwon do, shooting, shooting triathlon, women’s basketball, crossfit cop and racquetball.

The SSC reiterates its firm commitment to promote the comprehensive development of the institution’s staff, in addition to promoting healthy habits and promoting values ​​such as discipline, camaraderie and teamwork.

Likewise, he congratulates all the participants in this sporting event, for their performance and actions characterized by dedication and loyalty to raise the name of the institution.
