After their victory against Saint-Sébastien in the EuroCup, ASVEL Women started their LFB season with a victory at Villeneuve d’Ascq (72-76), this Sunday afternoon at the Palacium at the end of the first day. In the absence of Julie Allemand, Gabby Williams and Sandrine Gruda, David Gautier’s team was able to find the resources with its five professional players. Laura Quevedo regaled (19 points at 6/9 on shots, 3 rebounds and 4 assists for 21 evaluation in 32 minutes) as well as Blake Dietrick (15 points at 6/8, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in 37 minutes) and Alexia Chartereau (12 points at 3/6, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for 23 evaluation in 30 minutes). And if the ESBVA-LM could count on a Janelle Salaun (21 points at 8/18 and 6 rebounds) always more interesting, the Northerners have cracked in the money-time.
