The Asb Il Rio can rejoice for the bronze medal won by the very young Vincenzo Izzo, born in 2009, at the Italian championship of the FIJLKAM wrestling category. At the end of an intense and exciting journey, the Salerno club thus climbed to the lowest step of the podium, obtaining a prestigious goal despite the ample competition present at the final act. But in addition to Izzo’s result, I Leoni di Sant’Egidio also hold onto the fourth place of Gaia Amato and the two fifth places respectively won by Monica Pappalardo and Jousef Racchi. As far as the Judo sector is concerned, Angelo Caputo and Lorenzo Pio Rossi qualified for the final of the under 15 Italian championship to be held on 5 and 6 November at the Pala Pellicone in Ostia (Rome).
