Martinelli opened the scoring in the 5th minute in the second vs. last match. The Brazilian international was emphatic in his duel with Cook and headed Saka’s cross into the goal. Saka then had to substitute in the 27th minute due to an injury.

He was replaced on the pitch by Nelson, who secured Arsenal’s win with two goals in the second half. Nottingham could not follow up on the surprising win over Liverpool and with nine points they are still last. They lose three points for non-relegation positions.
