Martinelli opened the scoring in the 5th minute in the second vs. last match. The Brazilian international was emphatic in his duel with Cook and headed Saka’s cross into the goal. Saka then had to substitute in the 27th minute due to an injury.

He was replaced on the pitch by Nelson, who secured Arsenal’s win with two goals in the second half. First, in the 49th minute, he shot past the goalkeeper Henderson twice, and three minutes later he tapped Jesus’ low cross into the net from the small area. The fourth goal was added by Partey with a powerful shot from outside the box that ended up in the top right corner of the Nottingham goal. Ödegaard made the final 5-0 12 minutes before the end.

Nottingham could not follow up on the surprising win over Liverpool and with nine points they are still last. They lose three points for non-relegation positions.
