Archery: Alessandria del Carretto hit the mark

ALESSANDRIA DEL CARRETTO – One could define “a peaceful armed invasion” that which affected the charming village of Alessandria del Carretto in the first two days of this October.
The village located within the Pollino National Park represented an ideal setting for the two days of archery of the first national edition of the Kàrman sector, the flagship of archery training for CSEN, the largest promotion body national sports.
It was a pleasant invasion, which brought over 150 guests including companions and athletes, who came here from all over the country.
The rehearsals were able to enjoy the incredible possibilities offered by the location.
The 3D walk was faced by the athletes inside the botanical garden of the Pollino Park, where the shooting ranges had been positioned.
The 3D mix took place on a plateau whose breathtaking beauty and the suggestiveness of the landscape made it deserve the evocative title of “Calvary”.
The third test was the Borghi, a path that, as the name suggests, took place between the streets, squares and palaces of the Alexandrian village. To add a touch of ancient charm to this test, its targets: shields with heraldic representations scattered around the village.
A final test was supported by the guests of the event, but this time without arches: on the evening of Saturday 1 October a gala evening was held in the main hall of the Alexandrian museum, dedicated to the wolf. Here the archers who finished first in the national ranking during the 2022 matches were awarded.

Sports tourism represents a very important resource, especially in terms of a discourse linked to seasonal adjustment, as it is capable of moving hundreds if not thousands of tourists and visitors who thus have the opportunity to discover places full of charm such as those that dot the ion arc.

Excellent, therefore, the intuition put in place by the municipal administration of Alessandria del Carretto led by the mayor Domenico Vuodo.
