Ángela Tenorio qualified for the 100 meter final of the South American Games

Ecuadorian sprinter Ángela Tenorio qualified to compete in the 100-meter final of the Asunción 2022 South American Games, in Paraguay. On the morning of this October 13, 2022, the tricolor athlete won her semifinal series.

In heat 1 semifinal, Tenorio won with 11:64 seconds, followed by the Brazilian Ana Carolina De Jesus Azevedo with 11:68.

Angela Tenorio’s, 26, was the best qualifying time in the two semifinal races of the South American Games.

The final of the 100 meters, for the dispute over the medals, will be held at 18:15 (Ecuador time).

Silver for Juleisy Angulo in South American Games

On this day, the Ecuadorian athlete Juleisy Angulo Bonilla won the bronze medal in the javelin throw. The tricolor achieved a mark of 61.10 meters.

The winner of the test was the Colombian Denis Ruiz Hurtado with 62.97, while the Brazilian Jucilene Sales De Lima came second with 62.42 meters.
