It was close and almost that Denmark was victorious from all ten matches with Danish participation on the second day at individual UVM.

Ten games were visited by Dannebrog today on the many pitches in the Palacio de Deportes de Santander, Spain, and it was close that all the games ended in Danish victory.

In the first five games, the young Danish talents won with sensible numerical differences in two sets. Jeppe Søby/Sofie Røjkjær won 21-7, 21-11 over their Norwegian opponents, while Hjalte Johansen/Emma Irring Braüner (3) beat Cheng-Hao/Yu-Pei from Taiwan with 21-15, 21-13.

It was filled with three men’s singles victories in a row for Christian Faust Kjær (14), William Bøgebjerg and Jakob Houe (13).

After that, unfortunately, it didn’t go any further, when Japanese Tomoka Miyazaki unfortunately became too big a mouthful for Frederikke Østergaard. The Kolding BK player had to see himself beaten 17-21, 13-21

Denmark quickly got back on track again with a victory for Maria Højlund Tommerup/Kathrine Vang, who won 21-19, 21-19 over the Englishmen Lee and Parab.

The day ended with victories for Jakob Houe/Christian Faust Kjær (1) and Lærke Hvid/Sofie Røjkjær, before Hjalte Johansen/Jeppe Søby beat Schmidt/Themas from Estonia.
