All-Star Game – who will be the newcomers in 2023?

A start to the season is excitement, but sometimes also money placed on a foal that attracts us. Real money for those who can and who want, or simple predictions between friends or family, just to hear your mother talk about the son of Joakim Noah and Magic Jordan. In any case, this 2022-23 season is no exception to the rule and we therefore decided to reflect on a few existential questions for 30 seconds. One of them ? Who will be the new All-Stars this season, the stars, in other words those who will slam such a season that we will blow up the #NBAVote in December and January. Send the reviews, screen me this and we’ll come out in June, probably with huge bars of laughter.

Anthony Edwards, De’Aaron Fox, Tyrese Haliburton, Cade Cunningham. Youth in power! For the All-Star Game 2023, we will be treated to a breath of fresh air on the side of the mountains of Salt Lake City. Wolves phenomenon Anthony Edwards proved last season and especially in the Playoffs that he had the shoulders to take the next step and potentially become the new number 1 in Minnesota. I expect a big third season from him to take ambitious Wolves as high as possible. Then, Tyrese Haliburton is my favorite for the MIP title and I can see him participating in the big party next February after a first part of the season with 19 points – 8 assists on average. Showman and now owning the keys to the truck in Indiana, he has the head of the job. I also believe a lot in Cade Cunningham, author of a big end to the season as a rookie and destined to carry the Pistons on his shoulders this year. No wonder he’s coming off a 22-point, 6-rebound, 6-assist campaign with a growing Detroit team. Finally, and this is because I have compassion for Kings fans, I think 2023 can be the right year for De’Aaron Fox. After a complicated first half of the season last year, he exploded the stats and I can see him surfing the wave alongside Domantas Sabonis to finally make Sacramento more competitive.

Anthony Edwards, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander et Jalen Green. Youth Bonus! As far as Anthony Edwards is concerned, we won’t nitpick for long, especially since everyone seems to agree, the kid will take the reins of his franchise and send some very dirty numbers. Wolves may not be Top 2 in the West this winter but the record will also be enough to tip the scales in their favor for a first star. For the other two? I admit without difficulty that the balance sheet could be cra-cra in the file, but the first part of the season, before the start of the tanking operation therefore, could put the two kids on the front of the stage. SGA has been bordering All-Star for two years, Jalen Green has a good kid’s head which turns to almost 25 pawns from his season 2, and if the two are invited to Salt Lake City in February the French fanbases of the two franchises will perhaps be able to to finally be shaking hands and stop playing who is the dumbest.

Anthony Edwards, Shai Gilgeius-Alexander, Tyrese Haliburton et Evan Mobley. We already had a little novelty at the last All-Star Game and I can see a few little cracks making the cut this year in Salt Lake City as well. He was already not very far from being there in 2022 but I think we will have to count on Anthony Edwards this season. He proved in the Playoffs that he could be Wolves’ new alpha dog and I expect him to hit some heavyweight in 2023. Alexander be rewarded a little. Admittedly, the Thunder may again be in the class part of the rankings, but that masks too much the great work of SGA every night. Finally a little recognition for the Canadian. For the East, Tyrese Haliburton is one of my favorite players and I voted for him as an MIP so it makes sense for him to crack ASG as well. I finish with Evan Mobley, already incredible as a rookie and who is ready to take the next step in Cleveland. Defensively he is already a monster, offensively I think we are far from imagining his potential. Just can’t wait to see it in action.

Anthony Edwards, Jamal Murray, Tyler Herro, Tyrese Haliburton. That’s a lot of new ones, but since you have to get started… Already, how to zap this crazy Anthony Edwards? The new face of the Wolves, it’s him, and based on degenerate dunks and small well-felt verbal protrusions, he will be right at home at this All-Star Game. Jamal Murray took a season sabbatical to repair his knee, and he did well because he will return to his legendary level in the Orlando bubble, in which he was simply the best player in the history of the league. the Heat will also have a second participant alongside the indestructible Jimmy Butler, this time it’s the new rich Tyler Herro who will accompany him to bring wacky swag capital and incredible shots to an event that didn’t ask for it so much. And finally, Tyrese Haliburton will have the opportunity to have a little fun in the Indianapolis slump, he will be surfing on his very good second half of the season, and for us, it will be a joke to say that the Kings have lost the trade .

Jamal Murray, Anthony Edwards, Scottie Barnes. What a desire here to see Jamal Murray put on the tunic of the legendary All-Star game for the first time. Remind us of the euphoric memories of frenzied evenings at Mickey’s? That’s all we ask for, that’s all he will give us. And above all, it’s all that will allow him to go proudly parading in Utah with his Serbian colleague, a fan of wild boar broached in sauce. In the register of guys capable of screwing up a whole room by piling up shots that even Voyager 1 has never observed, Anthony Edwards is well placed. The future of Wolves, who this year will be a rather very competitive pack. Being the boss of a team that logically places itself at the top of the Western Conference at the February break? Yes sir, this is the ticket. Last candidate, Scottie Barnes. A profile may be less offensive than the other two, whatever. It is for all his versatility that Scottie deserves to represent the Dinos at the All Star Game. A guy like the basketball planet produces few, and who must now prove that the future of Toronto is written with him. Spoiler: he will.

Mattis

Anthony Edwards, Scottie Barnes, De’Aaron Fox. Ant Man has naturally recovered the keys to Minnesota and is now almost undisputed pack leader, because KAT is still in place. But the balls are now rightfully his, just like this first star which will reward Wolves’ season, alongside one of his teammates if they really fuel from the start of the season. a kind of achievement, why not even a place in the 5 in the West. After all, Andrew Wiggins did it… Scottie Barnes is my choice for the MIP, and I can see him also scratching his first selection at the All Star Game if he turns out to be THE nugget of the North, even ahead of FVV and Siakam , despite his ambition to enter the Top 5 of the League. Big cards, triple doubles for a long and complete player and a few wins if Toronto can stay afloat and that should do it. For my final pick, I’ll lean on De’Aaron Fox. In a crazy world – but let’s not forget that the world is going crazy right now, so we’re not very far from it – the Kings are winning games, at least 50% of them and the NBA will come to reward Sacramento point guard. For all of his work for 5 seasons in the doldrums, and for the double double average that he will have with Sabonis at his side. A small 23 and 11, that’s enough for a first star, right?

Gauthier

Anthony Edwards, Jamal Murray, Evan Mobley. What selection is difficult. But then, really difficult, and whatever happens there will be guys who will be snubbed, not happy, who will cry conspiracy, but that’s how there are only twelve places per conference and you have to deal with it . In addition, for these four to arrive, four others must leave their place, and that too is very, very difficult to predict in October. Anthony Edwards, I chose him in MIP, no surprise that he is also All-Star. Jamal Murray, it’s the year of consecration for his return, I even thought he had already been All-Star but no. Evan Mobley is my favorite from last season, I’m part of the “he should have been elected ROY” team, and he will show that he can do even better, even surrounded by attacking monsters. And then that’s all. In the East, there are really too many people for more than one kid to enter the very best of the League.

Jeremy

Jamal Murray, Anthony Edwards, Evan Mobley, Tyrese Maxey. Jamal Murray finally sees the light at the end of the tunnel. After a year on the couch, the Canadian will want to remember the good memories of those who have forgotten him. We talk all the same about a zinzin who piled up the 50 pawns between two coffees at Mickey’s. Becoming an All-Star is a goal for him this season, and he will achieve it. A star game where we will also find the hidden son of Michael Jordan: Anthony Edwards. The young wolf has even longer teeth and he will play in an even more competitive team. The calculations are therefore very simple and Anthony Edwards will be in Utah on February 19 to earn his first star. Spoiler, I’m not talking about skiing. In the race for the All-Star, Evan Mobley also dreams of setting foot in the big leagues. Darius Garland had to tell him his experience in detail and inevitably, the interior of the Cavs will do everything to be entitled to it as well. Considering his last season, it wouldn’t be crazy. The Ohio franchise has gone from strength to strength and Mobley could well start with a bang for his own star. Last candidate on the list, Tyrese Maxey. The young Sixers is already an essential element in Philadelphia, he comes out of a good season with an average of 17.5 pawns per game. Creator, scorer, Tyrese is a showman. He may be surprised.
