Aguada, Peñarol and Urunday won on the first date of the Uruguayan League

With three games this Friday closed the first date of the Uruguayan Basketball League where Aguada, Peñarol and Urunday Universitario were victorious.

Aguada defeated Defensor Sporting 90-82 with 32 points from American Jordan Adamsthe scorer of the first date.

Eloy Vargas contributed 14 and Tyron Fuller 10 for which the foreigners scored 62% of the team’s points.

The best national was Leandro Cerminato with 12 points and 7 rebounds. Cerminato is actually Argentine, but he has a national record because of his Uruguayan descent.

Vargas was the leader in rebounds with 10 and Juan Santiso in assists with 6.

Shane Gibson was Sporting’s top scorer with 20 points. The merged is directed by the Venezuelan Daniel Seoane who began directing Aguada last season.

in Panda, Peñarol had a triumphant debut beating Urupan 77-70 with 21 points from David Huertasfigure of the team in the 2021 League and that last year was expected for January in the team but in the end he did not return to the club in the 2021-2022 season.

Charles Thomas excelled with 15 points and 9 rebounds while Salvador Zanotta dished out three assists.

Eric Ferguson was the top scorer of the night with 21 points. He also had 11 rebounds, being the most outstanding in Urupan.

Urunday Universitario defeated Malvín 94-80 with a notable debut by Abel Agarbado, author of 24 points and 8 assists. Nicolás Catalá seconded him with 23.

In Malvín, Kiril Wachsmann stood out with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
