ISTANBUL,(DHA)- Turkish Airlines (THY) has released a special film for the National Men’s Basketball Team, which will compete in the FIBA 2022 European Championship and 2023 FIBA World Cup Qualifiers. The film tells the story of the meeting of national athletes with basketball balls signed by hundreds of passengers on different flights.
In the statement made by the THY Press Advisory, it is stated that the surprise encountered by the nationals on the giant screen is explained in the film under the coaching of Ergin Ataman, Head Coach of the National Men’s Basketball Team, for the training at the Sinan Erdem Sports Hall.
The statement said, “Our national basketball players are watching the story of the balls signed specially for them, accompanied by an emotional announcement made by the Turkish Airlines captain. At the end of the surprise, the Turkish Airlines flight team enters the field and presents the signed balls to the national basketball players to train.”

In the statement, THY Chairman of the Board and Executive Committee Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat’s views were also included.
